Posted By Rob Parker on November 19, 2009 It’s time for those Gooners to give again Arsenal’s highly commendable ‘Be a Gooner. Be a Giver‘ campaign is about to kick-in. Just like last season, Arsenal’s squad will donate a day’s wages to their charity, which is the Great Ormond Street Hospital this year. But to drum up extra support the club sent Cesc Fabregas, Bacary Sagna, Theo Walcott and Andrey Arshavin onto the streets in mascots outfits with collection buckets. Quite hilarious advert from the Arsenal in support of their fundraising campaign this term. Cesc as a cute and cuddly pony is spot on; Theo as a lion, not so much. Never thought I’d say this, but well done Arsenal. More clubs need to get in on proactive initiatives like this one.
